Jenna Spene Scholarship
The North MVP scholarship is awarded in the name Jenna Spene. Jenna played softball for the Hearts of Texas, and McNeil High School until the last day of her sophomore year in 2000 when an automobile accident took her life. We celebrate her life and spirt by presenting the North MVP Scholarship in her name.
Brittany Tuck Scholarship
The South MVP scholarship is awarded in the name of Brittany Tuck. Brittany was a former Hearts of Texas teammate of Jenna, and attended Lake Travis and Dayton High Schools. She played in this game herself in 2002 and won the MVP award for her outstanding play. Then in December of 2003, her life was stopped short by an automobile accident. We recognize achievements made by this outstanding athlete by awarding the South MVP Scholarship in her name.
